I cant remember a time when I felt truly happy. I find myself smiling all the time, its really started to freak me out. Maybe its the friends ive reconnected with again, maybe its the boyfriend that I finaly feel free from, maybe Im just happy? Who knows, but I want this to stay. I love that I can do what ever I want whenever I want. Glass of wine in the middle of the day? Sure, why not half the bottle!
Go out dancing on a Wednesday night? Of course! Its nice to live life for yourself. For the longest time I was living everyone else's live and It sucked. Now it feels great saying NO to people. I answer my phone only when I feel like talking and if I want to stay in on a friday night- I do.
With my ADD, this may all change next week but for now I'm loving life. fully.

Loss
Yesterday my mom lost her sister. She lived in FL and we hadn't seen her in a few years. I know my mom is hurting because of that.
We booked our flights when we got the news that there was no hope as we wanted to be there with my cousins as they turned off the machines. We didn't make it. Our hearts broke as we canceled flights to FL and started to make other arrangements to gather here in MN as this is where she wanted her final resting place to be. Her husband, my uncle, died much to young at the age of 40 and she will be laid to rest next to him and across from her parents (my grandparents). Sad sad times. I do take some comfort knowing that all my family will be flying home to Minnesota. I LOVE spending time with my family, I just wish it were different reasons .
Losing my aunt suddenly has made me want to cling to my family tell them how much I love them. You just never know...

Weekend's over
I had a great weekend. I got to see high school friends that I hadn't seen in over 5 years. We're planning our 15 year reunion (did I just say 15 years!!!!!???) at Stella's in uptown in October. We really got hooked up and it should be a fun time.
Friday I received some news that had been terrorizing me for the part 7 months. I wish I could say I feel better, but maybe in time...
One funny thing happened while we were having our reunion meeting at Stella's. I looked over and saw my ex-brother-in-law on a date. Awkward. :)
Im really looking forward to having dinner with Charlotte and her parents tomorrow night. I love Stillwater when the weathers nice and it will be nice to chat with Char about wedding stuff.
Alright, I'm off to watch Army Wives- love that show.

Tuesday
I've been so restless lately, I really hate this feeling. Do you ever feel like talking to someone but you have nothing to say? Sigh... please pray this fog lifts soon. I need a change.
I went over to Angie's house this morning for coffee and ended up staying all day and was even invited to stay for dinner. How nice is that?! I love not thinking about dinner. Tonight my dinner was going to be a pear and a glass of wine. Instead I got a home cooked dinner- yum. Thanks, Ang.
I spoke to the travel agent today to discuss Charlotte & Aaron's wedding. I'm really getting excited. I wasn't too excited to hear that because I'm a 'Single' I would have to pay almost $1000 more than if I were sharing a room with someone. That is a lot of money. Either i have to find a man FAST or pray Michelle wants to bunk together. Fingers crossed.
Thoughts of the day:
Bridesmaid dresses
Ex-boyfriend is a lunatic
Mexico
Jobs
80 degrees on Thursday
This wine I'm drinking is bad
So happy I found my pink hairband

Let's try this again...
Today someone told me "Stop being a victim" OUCH. I've never thought about that before. Do I whine? Ish, there is nothing appealing nor attractive about whining. I love hearing things about myself (good or bad) from other people. Guess its time to start working on that.
The weekend went so fast. Of course I did nothing too fun or crazy, Friday I went to the Miley Cyrus movie & Saturday eve I spent a few hours over at Jessica's house. I was home by 10pm and in bed by 11pm-CRAZY times. I'm really hoping to go out this weekend. Now that the weather is getting warm it makes me want to be out having beers and looking at attractive men.
I thought I'd post a few goals. These are things that I want to achieve BEFORE summer.
* Loose 15 more pounds.
* Wear strapless shirt/dress without arm chub popping out on the sides.
* Find job (oops, that should be #1)
* Stop being victim
* Grow hair longer
* Buy new couch
* Do more for myself
* Say no more
* Gossip less
* Eat better
* Drink more water
* Be more honest
Thats not a lot, right? Yeah, its a lot. Im sure there are a lot more, these are just on my mind today.
Im happy that my friend Charlotte is doing a blog now, its inspired me to get back into mine. I read so many blogs daily, I just think sometimes my life is not that interesting- but we'll see.

It's been awhile...
Wow, apparently I haven't 'blogged' in a while. Between Facebook, IM, MySpace, email and Navy-parents.com, I try not to go on the computer that much. HA.
I've become absolutely obsessed with the Olympics. Ive been staying up late every night. Swimming and Gymnastics are my favs for now, although Track is starting tonight.
Aaron returns home tonight, and we're so excited to see him. Its really hard having him so far away. The kids are really excited. He comes in tonight, so I'll say my hello's tomorrow morning. He's already text me from the freaking plane asking to use my car. ((sighs)) But we'll get him for 10 whole days this time! We were actually planning a trip out there, but he was granted leave- and of course he'd rather come home. So, we'll plan another trip out there. Maybe around Christmas time.
I had a really hard day. It consisted of getting a pedicure and getting my hair done.
